The Harvard Club of the United Kingdom is pleased to invite you to the Kiln Theatre
Following the sold-out 2013 season and subsequent West End and New York runs The Queen and the Iron Lady are reunited once again on the Kiln stage.
This timely return of Moira Buffini’s wickedly funny political comedy is a striking parallel with the current tumultuous political landscape, imagining what the world’s most powerful figures talked about behind closed doors. A story about Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Il and Margaret Thatcher that feels more relevant now than ever before.
Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham directs the Olivier Award-winning hit-comedy, with Marion Bailey and Kate Fahy returning as The Queen and Margaret Thatcher.
Kiln Theatre, 269 Kilburn High Road, NW6 7JR
Running Time: approx. 2 hours including one interval
‘A phenomenon’ – Sunday Telegraph
‘ Wondertully playful’ – Evening Standard
‘Wickedly witty and politically punchy’ – Metro
‘Irresistibly mischievous sovereign fun’ – The Independent
