Harvard Alumni Amicus Brief Sign On

This is the sign-on form for an amicus curiae (“friend of the court”) brief from Harvard alumni. The brief will be filed in support of Harvard, in its lawsuit challenging the U.S. government’s unlawful attempt to assert control over certain core functions at Harvard by withholding more than $2.2 billion in federal grants for research and related programs. Harvard’s lawsuit was filed in federal district court in Massachusetts: President and Fellows of Harvard College v. HHS et. al, No. 1:25-cv-11048 (D. Mass, filed April 11, 2025). Harvard’s legal complaint can be found here. The brief is a powerful way to register your views on the government’s campaign against Harvard.

Harvard Looks Forward

How the University is responding to recent turbulence by strengthening the Harvard community, fostering open dialogue, and advancing knowledge in service to society

The University is continuing to build upon recent actions to ensure that Harvard offers an environment in which all members of our community feel welcome and can thrive. This includes empowering presidential task forces to combat antisemitism and anti-Muslim and anti-Arab bias, providing new and expanded resources for student safety and wellbeing, and reaffirming the rights and responsibilities that balance Harvard’s dual commitment to free expression and mutual respect.
