Lessons from the Vaccine Taskforce

Door opens at 6:15PM. Speaking event starts at 7PM.

Drinks and hot and cold canapés will be served before and after the presentation.

In lieu of a speaking fee, Kate requests a donation to the Royal Free Hospital, the first hospital to admit women medical students and to treat cholera patients. Suggested minimum donation

Dame Kate Bingham DBE led our country out of the pandemic. In May 2020, Kate was appointed Chair of the UK Vaccine Taskforce reporting to the Prime Minister to lead UK efforts to find and manufacture a COVID-19 vaccine. The UK was the first western country to roll out mass vaccinations. She was awarded a damehood in June 2021.

Kate also has a successful 30-year career as a venture capitalist at SV Health Investors.

She has a first-class degree in Biochemistry from Oxford and an MBA from Harvard.
