The 7CC invites you to an evening with acclaimed author Sarah Dunant

The Seven College Conference is pleased to invite you to an evening with the acclaimed author Sarah Dunant.

Dunant will predominantly be speaking about her latest book, The Marchesa, a vibrant exploration of the Italian Renaissance through the eyes of Isabella d’Este, the leading female art collector and patron of her time. The Marchesa has received much praise, including being listed in The Times best historical fiction books of 2025. 20 copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.

The evening will begin with a welcome drink, snacks and mingling with fellow Seven College alumni. We will then all sit in the drawing room to hear from Dunant herself. After the talk, Dunant will be available for book purchasing and signing.

The cost of a ticket is £25.

Events put on by The Seven College Conference are run by our committee of volunteers and have a dual function: to act as fundraisers and to create a community for alumni of our seven colleges here in London. All funds raised go directly to students from our seven colleges who are studying abroad in the UK. Each semester we fund a grant to support a student in their academic/vocational pursuits while here in the UK. Further to that, we host an afternoon tea event to bring together all of the students studying abroad, which is free of charge to them. Thank you for supporting the 7CC by attending our events, and in turn supporting our current students!
